SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to query the Web Services Adapter through the wsaman utility from a remote machine
Unable to query the WSA through the wsaman utility from a remote machine
The wsaman throws error 8289 and 8281 when querying the WSA located on a remote server
Unable to connect to <host> (8289)
Unable to find wsa1 (8281)
Using the wsaman from OpenEdge 10.0x
The WSA is from OpenEdge 10.1x
The wsaman utility works fine when run locally on the WSA server.
CAUSE:
The wsaman utility from OpenEdge 10.0x is not compatible with the WSA from OpenEdge 10.1x .
FIX:
Use the same OpenEdge version for both the wsaman utility and the WSA.
