Using OpenEdge Architect
Architect Editor does not display a context tooltip for unknown variables
Code in editor contains reference to unknown variables
Compilation reports errors about unknown variables
Red error markers at the left of Editor view
No tooltip displayed when mouse cursor is over variable name
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
As a workaround, move the mouse cursor over the red marker at the left side. The error tooltip will be displayed and describe the unknown variable.
