Error 6142 and 5479 when starting AppServer with MSSQL DataServer
Failed to connect to the <db-type> database. (6142)
Error initializing the application server. (5479)
ODBC source was not found
prowin32.exe starts without errors with same DataServer
CAUSE:
The user account used to start the AppServer (or AdminService) does not have access to the ODBC DSN for the MS SQL database.
FIX:
Set the DSN for the MS SQL database as a "System DSN" instead of a "User DSN".
