Intersolv's Knowledge Base on-line.
Most Progress Customers using the Intersolv ODBC driver for Progress
hit a considerable amount of issues. Some of those issues are
documented on the Progress on-line Knowledge base
(http://www.progress.com). However, there is a further information
source that can be used to solve Intersolv's ODBC driver for Progress
configurations.
This source of Information is the Intersolv Knowledge Base on-line.
You can access this Knowledge Base via the World Wide Web with the
Following URL: http://www.intersolv.com
Once you are on the Main page, you will see on the top of this page a
link called 'supportnet' which will give you access to the Intersolv
Knowledge Base.
On the Welcome to SupportNet page you will see a 'Java Menu' or 'Non
Java Menu' Choose 'non Java menu' if your web browser is not Java
enabled.
In this menu you will find an entry called 'Tech Tools & Info' and
under this one an entry called 'Knowledge Base'.
If you select this entry you will then access the Intersolv Knowledge
Base.
Once In the Intersolv Knowledge Base, select Datadirect. (This is the
denomination used by Intersolv for their ODBC drivers Pack)
You should now have a menu containing a Search link. Click on this
one, and search for Progress (only).
The result of a search on progress will return a lot of very
interesting documents, including a Supported Configurations Matrix.
