Debugger time out error connecting to database with many extents
Timed out trying to connect to progress
Error received trying to attach debugger to a Progress process
The process is connected to a database with many extents (hundreds)
The process is connecting to the database in shared memory mode
No error if the process is connecting to the same database in client server mode
No error if the process is connecting to database with less extents in shared memory mode
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
Connect to a process which attaches to the database in client server mode or connect to a database with less extents
