GOAL:

How to track user seats?

FIX:

A user seat may loosely be defined as one user logging into an application.
The user may open multiple sessions in different ways, from different processes.

There is no current way built in way to track user seats within Progress.

Progress has the capability to log what machine a remote user is connecting from.
Progress has the capability of recording the user name from the operating system or the Application login name, if one is supplied.

Progress does not currently have the capability to determine if multiple logins belong to one user, each is considered a separate entity.

It may be possible to architect code to provide a means of associating all users logged in at a time with one ID as the same user.
