Intermittently get ORA-1722: invalid number with Oracle DataServer
WebSpeed server log file shows errors ORA-1722 and ORA-1252
ORA-01722: invalid number
ORA-01252: cannot prevent writes - file %s in recovery manager backup
WebSpeed agent is connecting to the Oracle database through Oracle DataServer
The dataserv.lg file shows error ORA-1722 only
Flushing the Oracle database's shared_pool temporarily resolves the issue for a while
CAUSE:
32-bit Oracle 10.1.0.4 was installed on 64-bit Linux platform which is unsupported.
FIX:
Install 64-bit Oracle 10g on the 64-bit Linux.
