FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom Management
SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot trend a database with Fathom Management on a Cluster
Unable to start dbagent on a clustered environment
Virtual host of the cluster is used
Cannot use a dbagent against cluster enabled database
Admin Server rejected registration. (8844)
Remote Database configuration for db1 on cluster 172.22.1.50:3900 not found.
** The db agent terminated with exit code 1. (10382)
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
None, dbagent does not yet support a virtual cluster name (or ip).
The only workaround is to create 2 (depends on how many nodes in cluster you have) scripted database resources for the same database and each cluster node.
