SYMPTOM(s):
Memory leak
Server socket enabled and disabled with each iteration of a loop
Errors occur after multiple iterations (+/- 5500 on UNIX platforms; +/- 65000 on Windows platforms)
Fatal memory error. (5466)
Unable to process parameters. (5509)
Invalid parameter string. (5510)
The following warning message is returned on Windows between each Progress error:
Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied. For more information, see Help.
Memory-usage of Progress executable increases with each use of the ENABLE-/DISABLE-CONNECTIONS() statements
Adding code between the ENABLE-/DISABLE-CONNECTIONS() statements does not help
