FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress AS400 Dataserver
SYMPTOM(s):
Error <read/writing> socket, ret=<n>, errno=<n>. (778)
CAUSE:
The server has closed the TCP/IP connection due to an AS/400 error. The reason (error message) of the disconnection is in the server job log.
FIX:
There will be no server job log if the Progress TCP/IP broker has not been started with the appropiate option (Start Server w/Message Logging = *YES) in the
STRPRONET command (the default is *NO).
