SYMPTOM(s):
Errors when starting the database after mounting LUNs
Creation date mismatch. (9214)
Extent <file-name> has the wrong creation date <time-stamp>, (9212)
Control Area has a creation date of <time-stamp>. (9216)
Mounted LUNs from a SAN prior to starting the database
The mounted LUNs contain the database trying to start
CAUSE:
LUNs from different environments have accidentally been mounted. i.e. Some LUNs mounted from a production environment and some are from a test environment, so although the database files look correct they may be a mix from two different environments.
FIX:
Mount all of the required LUNs from the same environment. Hardware vendors assistance may be needed to determine whether this has actually occurred, and also how to resolve.
