SYMPTOM(s):
/tmp directory is filling up after installing new Progress application
-T has not been set to a specific directory
-t has not been set so any temporary files are hidden. But still the /tmp directory is filling up.
CAUSE:
This is not a Progress problem. There are some Perl scripts running that are filling up the /tmp directory.
FIX:
Stopping the Perl scripts and clearing the files in the /tmp directory.
Set -T and -t so that the temp files can be seen and placed in a specific directory.
