GOAL:
What does the -nodelete option do when used with the proutil auditarchive utility.
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.1x
FIX:
The "-nodelete" option on auditarchive allows you to perform your archive operation in 2 stages instead of one. The default is to do ARCHIVE-DELETE in the same operation. With -nodelete, you can do ARCHIVE to a file with no delete and then once you know the archive works correctly do the DELETE pass. Note: when you do this you must use explicit date-time ranges where the DELETE cannot overreach the ARCHIVE operation.
