SYMPTOM(s):

Browser based report with output to .xl file is not working with Internet Explorer 7

It was working with Internet Explorer 6

The pop-up browser is being suppressed when user choose the print mode

The pop-up blocker was turned off

Added the Browser URL to the trusted site

CHANGE:

The browser was automatically upgraded to Internet Explorer 7

CAUSE:

The Internet Explorer 7 has more security build-in then Internet Explorer 6

FIX:

Besides adding the URL to the trusted site, the "security level for for this zone* needs to be set at low by clicking the custom level button.

Steps:

1. Select Tools menu > Internet Options on the IE 7 browser
2. Click on the Security tab on the Internet Options window
3. Click on the Sites button, uncheck the check box for "Require Server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" and add the URL for the Website
4. Click close button after you are done.
5. Click on the Custom level... button and reset the custom settings to low and click the reset button. Click OK on the message.
6. Click OK out of the Internet Options and re-launch the browser.
