SYMPTOM(s):
Edit connect information using UNIX or LINUX client cause connection parameters to be truncated
Connect parameters on windows was saved contain more than 4 lines
Lose connection information
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
Choose one of the following:
1) use a parameter file to store the connection parameters and use it into connection parameters using -pf parameter
2) bypass the value at the command line or in the CONNECT statement
3) restrict the use of 4 line only. Some parameters like -Dsrv can be set in a unique line by separating the values by a comma. eg: qt_debug,SQL,PRGRS_CACHE_CONN,1,PRGRS_CONN,Database=pubs
