Apptivity - Oracle8 (8.0.3) NT & Win95 - Need Oracle Patch
If you are using Apptivity to connect to an Oracle8 database
(Server version 8.0.3) on Windows95 or NT using the Oracle JDBC
Version 7 Thin drivers be sure that you have installed the patch
referenced in the Readme file for the JDBC driver. The Readme
indicates "You need the Oracle 8.0.3.0.2 patch on Windows 95 or
NT if you are using JDBC THIN to connect to an Oracle 8.0.3 server".
If you do not have the patch installed you will encounter errors
including but not limited to "Connection to <datasource name>
failed: Connection failed(1): No more data to read from
socket [Abort][Retry]".

to obtain or install the patch.
