FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.1A
SYMPTOM(s):
Error 7566 when using a keyword between double quotes
Keyword used for a name (7566)
A keyword is used as an identifier in a OESQL CREATE statement
The SQL table is being created in the PUB schema
The identifiers are not 4GL / ABL reserved keywords
CAUSE:
Bug# 20060531-004
CAUSE:
OESQL was incorrectly showing some identifiers as 4GL reserved keywords.
FIX:
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.1A Service Pack 2 or later.
Due to the unified schema between OESQL and 4GL / ABL in OpenEdge 10.1A or later, it is still not permitted to use 4GL / ABL reserved keywords as identifiers in a SQL CREATE statement.
