GOAL:
Is Application Auditing possible when not connected to a database ?
GOAL:
How is the Application Context & Audit Event Group affected in stateless n-Tier or in occasionally connected client/server environment ?
FIX:
We do not support the scenario where no audit enable database is connected at the time the event fires. The events are not recorded since there's no database connected.
We do not support audit events in the presentation layer (such as Web Clients/Open Clients). In those cases, a call to the AppServer that has an auditing database connected needs to be made.
The same applies to Application Context & Audit Event Group. It only applies if there is an auditing database connected at the time. Any database connected after the context is set, does not get the context automatically set.
