How to update SonicMQ Control Number without re-installing the product ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Sonic MQ 6.x
SonicMQ 5.x
FIX:
Follow these steps to change the control number of a SonicMQ installation :
1) Connect to the SonicMQ broker using the Sonic Management Console
2) Select the Configure Window
3) Expand the Brokers branch and select the Broker -> Properties menu option
4) The properties screen will appear and in the General Page it shows the current control number used by SonicMQ
5) Modify the control code and press the product information number to make sure the changes were accepted
