SYMPTOM(s):
Getting error "Java failed to load" while installing Oracle DataServer on machine shared with Oracle while Oracle is running.
OpenEdge installation aborts before completing the entire installation.
Registry keys created.
Unable to Uninstall OpenEdge since the uninstall file wasn't completed due to the install program abort.
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
Stop all OpenEdge and Oracle processes during the installation of OpenEdge. Some processes and .dll files may be used by both programs and may cause the installation to fail if a shared resource is locked.
