SYMPTOM(s):
The Search View in the OpenEdge Architect does not open files in separate Editors
The Search View opens files in the same Editor
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. This behavior is according to the settings in the OpenEdge Architect preferences.
FIX:
You can do one of the following to prevent the Editor pane from being reused:
- Go to the Window -> Preferences -> General -> Search menu and uncheck the "Reuse editors to show matches" option.
- OR -
- Modify the code in the Editor pane before opening the next file.
