The OpenEdge Global Profession Services group performs database performance tuning.
OpenEdge Technical Support can provide generic solutions which can suggest many ways to improve performance.
OpenEdge Technical Support can make a cursory review of database startup parameters and the output of the gather script.
OpenEdge Technical Support can point out commonly used parameters.
However, since Technical Support does not perform a full system review Technical Support will not make recommendations as to what to set parameters since this may adversely effect other processes on a system that Technical Support is unaware of.
