Winframe, Memory usage of clients & Progress

DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.

INTRODUCTION:
=============
This K-base describes the memory requirements of a Winframe setup and
how to find out how much a program is using of memory.

WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
To tune the Winframe server it is a must to know the memory usage and
when there might be a need to add some more ram.

Later a describtion in limiting the user memory usage will be added
(cfe 1/4-1998)

PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
For the operating system itself (Winframe 1.7) 16MB are used.
For a normal user logged in,4-8MB are a normal usage, the ICA client
takes up some 2MB of these. (the same amount is assigned in the swap
file)
For a power user 8-12MB are used.

Futher Citrix suggest that one proccessor should be used pr. 15 users.

To find out what the memory usage is start the application, monitor
what processes are running in the WinstationAdministration, run the
PVIEW and find the number of the PRIVATE PG for each of the processes
add these and this number shows what each client can expect to use
(+2MB for the ICA)
