Winframe, unable to show MODAL DIALOG BOX, fixed
DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.
INTRODUCTION:
=============
If an application is run when the user logs in and not by starting it
in PROGMAN.EXE, the client is unable to focus on a MODAL DIALOG BOX
because it is hidden by the parent window.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
This has been fixed by Servicepack 5A, the client are now freely able
to tab between the diferent frames. (Normaly done by ALT+)
PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
Download the Servicepak from
ftp://ftp.citrix.com/winfrm17/sp5a217s.exe
This is only for English Winframe1.7
When downloaded, run the sesp5a217s.exe in a empty directory to
install the contents.
Then run the following command;
C:\%path%\hotfix /I
when this returns to the prompt run
C:\%path%\hotfix /V
and verify that the servicepack has been installed.
Reboot the winframe server.
