The following bugs related to the AS/400 DataServer have been fixed
in 8.1C client release:
97-09-18-006 When loading an AS/400 format .df file via the
Progress/400 Data Dictionary, if a field is not marked as
Null Capable, it was still created as non Null Capable.
Now it applies the default as yes.
97-10-06-006 Creating Packed Decimal fields by copying the field from
another one resulted in a DBA Commit failed error.
97-08-22-013 If a user changed only the format name in the tables
properties screen, the schema was not being updated
properly.
97-06-20-008 When loading a Progress .df file to create an AS/400 Database,
if the Progress field names had the same first 10
characters the load issued a warning message: "AS/400
field name already exists", it continued but the file
did not have the field.
97-08-12-006 Using the Progress/400 Data Dictionary to change the Name
of a Primary AS/400 Index Name and trying to Sync it, it
failed with system error CPF5001.
Fixed in patch 8.1C05:
97-02-20-025 Under some circumstances, a browser may result in a
Progress 1433 error and GPF. This has only been detected
to happen using SNA networking protocol and some versions
of the APPC application.
