SYMPTOM(s):
"proinst" fails with following error
Invalid OpenEdge installation detected. The destination path you have entered does not contain a valid OpenEdge installation.
CAUSE:
The "proinst" executable is from a service pack (and not a Commercial Release) and therefore an existing installation within the destination path is expected
FIX:
Make sure you have uncompressed the tar or zip package for a commercial release versus the tar or zip file for a Service Pack.
