FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
A program which executes fine from a normal client sessions does not execute on the Appserver
Appserver program does not run
Same program ran from a client session works
CAUSE:
If the AdminService is started with the default Local System Account, then this means the AdminService or any process spawned from the AdminService will only have access to local resources, the Local System Account does not have permissions on any network resource.
FIX:
The AdminServer must be started with an account which has the required permissions on the network resource it needs to access.
