Selecting OpenEdge -> Compile fails to compile from the project's context menu fails to compile the .P (Upper Case P) files of the project.
Selecting OpenEdge -> Compile fails to compile from the project's context menu compiles the .p (Lower Case p) files of the project.
CAUSE:
The default .p extension is lower case p.
FIX:
Add the upper case P to the OpenEdge Editor's extensions:
Window -> Preferences -> OpenEdge -> Editor -> File Association
Change the contents of the "Source File Extensions" fill-in from "p,cls" to "p,cls,P"
RESTART the OpenEdge Architect before the change will take effect.
