WebSpeed broker does not start with error 8454 in the WebSpeed broker log
ERROR : property (<propertyName>) is not defined for broker (<brokerName>) in properties file (<propertiesfilename>). (8454)
ERROR : property (sslEnable) is not defined for broker (broker name) in properties file (%DLC%\properties\ubroker.properties). (8454)
FACT(s) (Environment):
The OpenEdge 10.1A Application Server is installed on the same machine
WebSpeed 3.1x
OpenEdge 10.x
All Supported Operating Systems
CHANGE:
Using 3.1D ubroker.properties file with OE 10.1A WebSpeed
CAUSE:
While the broker is trying to initiate all the properties setting during the startup, it could not find the properties, in this case sslEnable, in the 9.1D/3.1D ubroker.properties file
FIX:
There are two ways to fix this issue:
1. Use the OE10.1A ubroker.properties file and create all the broker from scratch
2. Use the OE10.1A ubroker.properties file and copy all the broker definitions from 9.1D/3.1D ubroker.properties file
