SYMPTOM(s):
indexmove not allowed with inactive index. (8575)
proutil -C idxmove fails with error 8575
CAUSE:
An inactive index cannot be moved by the proutil idxmove utility
FIX:
To find which indexes are inactive for a table, connect to the database via Data Dictionary and run a Detailed Table report.
Find all inactive indexes in the listing, then either:
a.) Use "proutil dbname -C idxbuild" command to rebuild the inactive indexes making them active. Then re-run the idxmove.
or
b.) delete the inactive index(es).
