SYMPTOM(s):

Some colors do not work with Windows XP theme and manifest files

The toggle box color is ignored and the check mark is displayed as green.

The toggle box label foreground color is ignored.

Radio set and toggle box color settings are ignored.

FACT(s) (Environment):

Colors are displayed correctly if using the Windows Classic theme for the desktop.
Colors are displayed correctly if the manifest file is not used.
Windows XP
OpenEdge 10.1x
OpenEdge 10.2x

CAUSE:

This is a limitation of Windows XP.
Windows XP ignores the foreground color settings for toggle-boxes and radio-sets when a manifest file is used.

FIX:

There are several possible workarounds for Windows XP users:

Use the Windows Classic theme for the desktop
Disable the use of the manifest file
Change the color theme of the application to not require special colors for radio set and toggle box labels.
