Results- CHAR to GUI conversion and error 3077.
After converting a CHAR results report to GUI, you may experience the
error when you run the newly-converted report:
WARNING: modifier other than AT, TO, BGCOLOR, DCOLOR, FGCOLOR, FONT,
or VIEW... (3077)
When you look this error up, it reads:
The constant in a HEADER expression (in FORM, or DEFINE FRAME) may be
modified by at-phrase, TO, BGCOLOR, DCOLOR, FGCOLOR, FONT, and/or VIEW
-AS TEXT. All other modifiers are ignored.
What might be causing this is any text that you might have defined in
the First-page-only Header or the Last-page-only Footer.
If the text in either of these places are center-aligned in CHAR
Results, then it may cause the 3077 error once converted and run in
GUI Results.
The solution is to Left justify any text in these areas.
GUI Results will center the text for you anyway.
This error was originally encountered in a conversion from
CHAR v6 to GUI v8.2.
