SYMPTOM(s):
Slow performance running PHP application with and ODBC connection to a Progress database.
CAUSE:
Multiple connections to the same database were using different DSN (data source names).
FIX:
Using the same DSN for all ODBC client connections improved the performance of this PHP application.
