GOAL:
Why doesn't Dynamics support a DataServer repository ICFDB?
GOAL:
Is it possible for the Dynamics ICFDB to be deployed via a SQL or Oracle DataServer?
FIX:
Dynamics only supports a Progress database ICFDB. There are several reasons for this, but two of the most significant are:
1. 4GL functional differences with the DataServer could have adverse effects within the Dynamics framework.
2. The DataServer would be a bottleneck in terms of performance when rendering dynamic objects.
