Error (2290) when running a Progress 9.1x Application on a machine that contains the Intel(R) Extreme Graphics 2 Driver
Encountered image resource failure when realizing <widget>. (2290)
The video driver installed on the machine where the Application is running is the Intel(R) Extreme Graphics 2 Driver
Setting the level of "Hardware Acceleration" for the graphics adapter to 'None' does not help
Moving the image files to a directory on the local drive does not help either
Placing the images into a procedure library (.pl) file located on the client machine does not work
CAUSE:
This is related to a bug in version 5 of the Accusoft Image Format Library, which is a third-party DLL that Progress packages with its version 9.1x product
FIX:
Upgrade the OS to a version of Windows built on NT technology
