Recently upgraded from OpenEdge 10.0B02 to 10.0B03
Getting errors upgrading 091dyn-dep Dynamics Repository in Roundtable from OpenEdge 10.0B03 to 10.0B05
When running the DCU it complains about missing db/icf/dfd/icfdb100004* files:
The SAX parser could not find the XML file to be parsed. File: db/icf/dfd/icfdb100004.xml(MSG_SAX_File_Not_Found)
CAUSE:
If the DCU was correctly run while upgrading to 10.0B03 then those files shouldn't be needed when running DCU in 10.0B05.
So there are two possible reasons:
While upgrading to 10.0B03:
- Forgot to run the DCU after populate workspace
- Did run the DCU against a different icfdb than the one you are running now when upgrading to 10.0B05.
FIX:
Go back to backup and restart the upgrade from 10.0B02 to 10.0B03 and make sure you run the DCU against the right icfdb.
Then continue with the 10.0B03 - 10.0B05 upgrade steps.
