SYMPTOM(s):
AdminServer does not start.
No error is given.
" java -version " returns unsupported version of java.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Controller is a Primary Domain Controller.
DEP exception security is enabled. (Lower radial button)
%DLC%\jre\bin\java.exe has not been enabled as a DEP exception.
AdminService for Progress is started as a Windows service.

CAUSE:
wrong jdk java version is found by Progress and startup of AdminService fails.
FIX:
There are two solutions:
1. Add DLC\jre\bin to the Path in the Windows System environment variable.
or
2. Enable DLC\jdk\bin in DEP setup. (Top radial button, host will have to be restarted for change to take place)
(Adding Progress java location to Windows path is not necessary).
