SYMPTOM(s):
ActiveX client fails when accessing the AppServer via AIA
An AIA error was returned thru http : Unexpected error:com.progress.ubroker.util.ubMsg$InvalidMsgVersionException: MsgFormat (9998) (9986)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
The Java Servlet engine was using an older AIA.jar file
FIX:
Replace the AIA.jar file that the Java Servlet engine is using with the one which ships with the version of Progress you are using
