Using Silent Installation process to install OpenEdge 10.1A
Installation process hangs
Installation process hangs showing the following at the screen:
OpenEdge Silent Install Step 3 of 3: Configuring installed files, updating registry, and creating shortcuts..
Installation log file shows that the installation stopped at:
[TailoringClasses]
SonicESB configuration was skipped when recording the response file
CAUSE:
Bug# 20051222-010
CAUSE:
Tailoring of the SonicESB fails as there is no SonicESB section defined in the response file
FIX:
Option #1
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.1B
Option #2
Record another installation and click YES when presented with the Attention Dialog containing the following text:
"The OpenEdge Adapter for Sonic ESB is a recommended component for this installation and requires a Sonic ESB installation somewhere on your Network. Click YES if you plan on using OpenEdge Adapter for Sonic ESB, else click NO."

Hand edit the response file by adding the following section and replacing <your hostname> with your actual hostname, e.g. PcWinXP1Container
