SYMPTOM(s):
OUTPUT TO device APPEND hangs.
OUTPUT TO VALUE("lpt1:") APPEND.
Both the colon in the device name and also the APPEND option are given.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
There are two workarounds to this issue:
1. Remove the colon from the device name. i.e.:
OUTPUT TO VALUE("lpt1") APPEND.
or
OUTPUT TO LPT1 APPEND.
2. Remove the APPEND option when printing to a device.
