FIX:
Starting in 9.1D05 a new version of Pro*Spy called Pro*Spy Plus was packaged with Pro*Tools. The older V8 version is still available and the Pro*Tools menu bar can be customized to allow use of the older version.
To configure Pro*Tools to use this older version of Pro*Spy:
1. Open Pro*Tools and choose FILE->Customize from the Menu Bar. If the Menu Bar is not visible, Right-Click anywhere in the Pro*tools palette and choose Menu Bar.
This will launch the Pro*Tools Customization dialog.
2. In the Pro*Tools Customization dialog choose the Add button. This launches the Add Pro*Tools Applet dialog window
3. Enter a label for the new Pro*Tool object in the Label fillin, i.e. "Pro*Spy 8".
4. Enter "protools/_prospy.w" in the Program fillin.
5. Click OK on the Add Pro*Tools Applet dialog window and then OK on the Pro*Tools Customization dialog window.
6. Click yes on the dialog box where it asks you to overwrite the protools.dat.
