FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.1B
OpenEdge 10.1C
OpenEdge 10.2A
OpenEdge 10.2B
FIX:
Starting on OpenEdge 10.1B03 a 64-bit ODBC driver was only available for HPUX Itanium.
As of OpenEdge 10.2A a 64-bit ODBC driver is available for Windows 64-bit.
As of OpenEdge 10.2A03 a 64-bit ODBC driver is available for AIX POWER PC 64-bit
As of OpenEdge 10.2A03 a 64-bit ODBC driver is available for Solaris SPARC 64-bit
As of OpenEdge 10.2B03 a 64-bit ODBC driver is available for HP-UX PA-RISC 64-bit
As of yet no 64-bit ODBC driver is available for Linux 64-bit. The license (Serial number and Control code) for linuxx86 64-bit SQL Client Access listed on the Progress Electronic Download center is for 64-bit JDBC driver only.
We intend to have 64-bit drivers available on all supported 64-bit platforms in the next major release (OpenEdge 11.0). Support may be added earlier if it proves to be technically viable.
