A Fathom/OpenEdge Management Collection is a logical grouping of resources. Collections are customizable and shareable with other Fathom Admins and Operators. Collections can include all monitored resources, jobs, reports and other collections. As an example, different databases or applications may have different resources associated with them. This way you can group all the necessary pieces under on easily identifiable collection.
To create a Collection, access the My Fathom Page. In the Details screen, click the Collections pull down menu, and choose "Create Collection." Enter a collection name, determine under which parent collection (shared or my collection), that you wish the collection to be listed under. From their determine which containers and resources you wish to be part of the collection. Move the chosen selection from the "available" list box to the "selected" list box. Click save.
