error reading socket usr -13108, retc -1, (734) on client
error reading socket usr -13108, retc -1
Error reading socket on the server side e.g. on Netware 3.12 with 6.2M
20 is always fired by the server as error message if the client doesn'
t respond anymore on the socket .
If the network connection is interrupted before the server had time to
assign a user id the above usr and retc of the error appears . It's
easy to reproduce the error message by interrupting the network cable
on the beginning of a connect request after the first packet from the
client has reached the server , but the packet send from the server as
a response to the client has not been responded from the client . On
the client you will then get the error message (734) .
The error always indicate a network problem and Progress can nothing
do to avoid the error as long as the network problem is not solved.
