FIX:
Use the following steps to install the certificate which your .NET Open Client applications needs in order to connect to the AppServer via HTTPS:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select the Internet Options... menu item from the Tools menu
(The Internet Options window will display)
- Select the Content tab
- Click the Certificates... button
(The Certificates window will display)
- Select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab
- Click the Import... button
- Import your certificate
Depending on your configuration you may also have to do the following:
- In Internet Explorer, open the URL of your web server (i.e. https://my-web-server-where-my-aia-is).
- This will open the certificate error page
- Select "Continue to this website (not recommended)"
- Click on the red "Certificate Error" box (beside the URL box)
- Click on "View Certificates"
- Go to the "Certification Path" tab
- Click on the root certificate (the certificate at the top of the tree
- Click on "View Certificate"
- Click on "Install Certificate..."
- Accept all the wizards defaults
