abApplet not found when running a deployed app in Apptivity
What to do if this happens: abApplet not found
If you get this type of error trying to run an applet that you
have deployed, make sure of the following:
* An example of the aliases that need to be set up should be:
Directory Alias
c:\Apptivity20\jdbc /myapp/JDBC
c:\Apptivity20\netscape /myapp/Netscape
c:\Apptivity20\progress /myapp/Progress
c:\Apptivity20\com /myapp/Com
c:\InetPub\wwwroot\images /IMAGE_SOURCE
* In the project properties, make sure that the project properties
are similar to:
Target Directory Relative to Workstation:
\\machinename\shared-drive\InetPub\wwwroot\myapp
Target Directory Relative to Server
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\myapp
Verify that the application files do in fact exist in the Target
Directory Relative to Server. abApplet should be in this directory.
* As a debugging technique, if you are using Netscape Comminucator,
open up the Java Console and set the debug level to 9.
