FIX:
The subst.exe command is an external command that allows substitution of a folder for another drive letter.
Syntax:
subst [drive 1: [drive2:]path]
subst drive1: /D
Parameters:
drive1: Specifies a virtual drive to which you want to assign a path.
drive2: : Specifies a physical drive and path you want to assign to a virtual path, ifdifferent from the current path.
/D Deletes a substituted (virtual) drive.
Type SUBST with no parameters to display a list of current virtual drives.
Example:
SUBST a: . Sets the directory you are in and subdirectories thereafter into the A: drive.
To maintain the SUBST command after reboot, the command must be placed into the autoexec.bat file.
