Can not install OpenEdge 10.1A
Installation hangs while "tailoring files"
The host name begins with a number.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
You can work around this issue. During the installation process when asked to install Sonic components select "Yes" (even if you do not plan to use Sonic). On the following screen when the Sonic configuration is displayed look for the Sonic Container Name. Here you can edit the bad character from the host name. During the installation process you will see massages stating Progress could not connect to the Sonic Broker. These messages can be ignored if you are not using Sonic.
