Running query from SQL Explorer
Using TO_CHAR Function to change datatype from integer to Character
CAUSE:
Bug# 20031219-001
FIX:
Upgrade to 90.1D09 or 10.1A01
If Upgrade is not an option the workaround is to:
when comparing two fields where one is character and one is integer could be to
1. Exclude To_char. This will make an automatic conversion of datatype
or
2. convert the character field with TO_NUMBER
