AdminService hangs at start up when creating a Fathom Container on a remote host.
Fathom container is not created.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sonicsw/mf/common/runtime/INotification (11491)
No additional log entries.
ads0.exp is not created.
FACT(s) (Environment):
IBM AIX POWER 5.3
OpenEdge 10.0B 64-bit
Fathom Management 3.0A
CAUSE:
Corrupted /dlc/java/ext/sonic_Client.jar file and vpd.properties file.
FIX:
Follow the steps below to resolve to problem:
1. Run "fmconfig -disable"on the remote host.
2. Delete the /dlc/java/ext/sonic_Client.jar file and the vpd.properties files
3. Run "fmconfig -enable" on the remote host.
4. Create Fathom Container
